Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the drawing and coloring apps on the Android platform in the United States exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Happy Color®: Coloring Book from X-FLOW maintained a robust performance. Weekly revenue peaked at around $7K in late February and early March. Weekly downloads showed a steady pattern, starting at approximately 81K at the beginning of January and gradually declining to about 61K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, starting at 1.09M and ending the quarter at around 978K.

Phone Case DIY by CrazyLabs LTD showed a notable trend in weekly downloads. The app started with 202K downloads at the end of December, dropped to around 39K in mid-January, and then gradually increased, peaking again at 77K in mid-March. Weekly active users saw a significant drop from 408K at the beginning of January to 196K by the end of March.

Paint by Number: Coloring Game from Oakever Games experienced a steady stream in weekly revenue, averaging around $15K to $17K throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 53K at the end of December, dipped to around 32K in early February, and climbed back up to 55K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 467K and ending the quarter at 505K.

DIY Keyboard, also from CrazyLabs LTD, saw fluctuating weekly downloads. The app started with 112K downloads at the end of December, dropped to around 23K in early January, and then varied, ending the quarter with about 40K downloads. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 141K and ending the quarter at approximately 65K.

Finally, Tap Color Pro: Color By Number by Tap Color Studio displayed strong performance in weekly revenue, peaking at around $12.7K in late February. Downloads steadily increased from 37K at the end of December to about 53K by early March, and active users showed a continuous upward trend, starting at 150K and reaching approximately 181K by the end of March.
